Why, hello there! Welcome to Lit Knit Wit. I’m so very happy you’re here. Lit Knit Wit was created to share my favorite things with the world: books, knitting, and the all-encompassing “wit”–the extra special things, people, and places this world has to offer. Discovering a new favorite story or stitch is all the more sweet with friends to share it with! Come on in, discover a new pattern, genre, or entry to your to-be-read or -knit list and let me know what you loved or what you’d suggest we all try next!
I created Lit Knit Wit to connect withe fellow creative women like myself who were born with a to-be-read list that will never end and a pile of works-in-progress that make their apartments feel like home. Think of this space as your favorite book club group or knitting circle—without the scheduling game.
As well as your editor here at Lit Knit Wit, I am a professional writer, editor, and creative. I love helping fellow creatives find their voice and get it out into the world. As a publishing professional, I am thrilled to share my industry insider intel with you fellow book lovers. I started knitting in 2013, spurred by my need to find a cold weather hobby before I lost all my marbles during the long, brutal Boston winters. There’s a certain beauty, as well as a serious sense of accomplishment, in making something out of a thin line of yarn. Not to mention the tactile goodness of a great skein. Spine or skein, I’m in.
