A Season of Change: What’s To Come for Lit Knit Wit
Long time, no talk–I know. As many of you know, I am eyeball-deep in wedding planning, working full time with a long commute, and growing my freelance work. That’s already probably a project too many, and this blog fell by the wayside. But that’s enough excuses. I have big ideas and big plans for these parts in the coming months!
You’ll notice a few aesthetic changes have already happened; more are in the works. I want this space to look and feel fresh and new–just as the content and activity will over the next several weeks. I love color and have begun dabbling in design, I want to explore and use this little corner of the internet as my canvas!
Later this summer, after the wedding and much-needed honeymoon vacation, I can’t wait to share with y’all all the awesome things I have cooked up–from knit-along community projects to book club suggestions to the best “bookstagram” and “knitstagram” accounts to follow, and beyond. Things are going to get fun up in here. And also a bit serious. I really commend and admire writers who write from an uncomfortable place and are truly vulnerable with their readers. I feel closer to those writers and love their work all the more for it. I want to open those same lines of communication here. We’ll file that under the “wit” portion of this venture, shall we?
The last several months–and the next several to come–have me smack in the middle of a season of change in my life. I’m getting married, growing my skills, shaping my career, making big goals and plans for the future… Change is really the only constant for me, as of late. I’m excited for each and every one of these changes, and can’t wait to share that sense of rebirth and invigoration with you all here, as well.
I wish you all the very best in everything that you do. I’ll see you soon!
